Lovely friendly welcome. Our room was what you would expect for 3* Hotel. The bed was super comfy. The shower was great too with good shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. (The air conditioning is a bit noisy though - fine with ear plugs).
The breakfast buffet is very good with lovely fresh fruit, pastries and some hot offerings too. Being able to make your own toast is also great.
Having a lovely comfortable place to sit any time of day (lobby/breakfast area) was a bonus, especially with the free coffee/tea/water, board games and library.

Greeted with cold, refreshing pineapple drink and after a long flight, it was heavenly.

The place is in the middle of a transformation so there is noise during the day but not at night.
And speaking of noise, as others have mentioned the AC is loud. We came at a week where it was 20/25 C so we had the AC off at night. And walls are thin but not bad. Bring earplugs just in case!
The bar fridge also not very cold so I wouldn’t rely on that to keep food cold.
Another plus is that they have filtered water for you to fill your water bottle.
Friendly workers, a comfortable bed, quiet room, and an excellent breakfast with hot and cold items and lots of fresh fruit. It's an easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. I was there for business, but my birthday happened to be in the middle of the trip (fine by me!). I was pleasantly surprised that not only did a few of their employees wish me a happy birthday, they also left a bday card and a little pile of snacks on the bed! Very sweet! An excellent hotel, I'd stay again.
